To celebrate McLaren’s 1000th Grand Prix, the McLaren Racing Club launched a month-long vote across 16 of the most iconic names in team history — seeded by wins, glory, and sheer magnetism. More than 50,000 fan votes poured in from 87 countries. In the semi‑finals, four titans emerged: Ayrton Senna, Lewis Hamilton, Mika Häkkinen, and Alain Prost.
But as the final round closed, the world witnessed a replay of history’s most intense duel. Senna vs. Prost — the rivalry that defined late‑80s and early‑90s Formula 1 — reignited, this time decided by the Papaya Family.
